Marc Jacobs based his Spring 2015 runway collection on the idea of uniforms.

It started with the colors — “They're kind of invisible colors,” Jacobs said during a preview. “Then, I started thinking about uniforms and decoration and anonymity and the idea of uniforms and youth culture. Uniforms used to be a symbol of rebellion and protest. And now, it doesn't mean anything. It's just what you wear.”

As for other decoration, after intense research of institutions from the Girl Scouts to the Army, Jacobs represented the idea of badges and medals with huge resin cabochons, often set into guipure.

These pants feature those resin cabochons and embroidery. The belt is attached to the pants and allows for adjustment on the fit. Cargo pockets decorate the sides. The crotch is dropped for an androgynous silhouette.

Waist ~15.25 inches. Rise ~15 inches. Inseam ~16.5 inches.

Overall very good condition. Missing a few of the resin cabochons on the back (pictured). Some fraying to embroidery and scratches on the embellishments.
